E-CELL

Founded with the vision of fostering Entrepreneurship and innovation, the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) at SMVIT has grown into a dynamic community of passionate individuals. Initially re-established in 2021 by a dedicated group of seniors, the club has thrived as a platform for students eager to explore the world of startups, networking, and business development. In just three years, our E-Cell has achieved significant milestones. We proudly represented SMVIT at prestigious competitions and events, including the National Entrepreneurship Challenges (NEC) hosted by IIT Madras and IIT Bombay. At the IIT Bombay NEC, our team secured an impressive 16th place, showcasing our commitment to excellence and growth on a national scale. Beyond competitions, our members have attended startup expos, such as Startup Melas, where we networked with industry leaders and gained insights into the latest trends in the startup ecosystem. On campus, the E-Cell organizes a variety of events designed to nurture entrepreneurial skills and encourage innovative thinking. We’ve hosted pitching competitions that allow students to present their startup ideas, receive valuable feedback, and even gain mentorship from industry experts. Additionally, our events foster essential skills, from ideation and business planning to effective pitching and networking, ensuring our members are well-prepared for real-world challenges. Looking ahead, our mission remains the same: to build a community of like-minded individuals driven by creativity and ambition. The E-Cell is not just a club but a launchpad for those with dreams of creating and leading ventures that make an impact. OUR MISSION

Our mission is to create a self-sustaining campus hub that fosters entrepreneurship by connecting students with industry experts, understanding market demands, and providing hands-on training to launch start-ups seamlessly.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to create a self-sustaining club that supports entrepreneurs through workshops, innovation labs, and networking opportunities like ideathons and hackathons. We aim to host an annual E-Summit, building partnerships, generating revenue, and showcasing our ability to manage large-scale projects. Additionally, we will offer micro-grant programs, on-campus incubators, and a strong alumni network for mentorship, investment, and partnerships to support ventures beyond campus.

Adding to our success, Shashwat Ranjan, Satvik Gupta, and Anant Srivastav emerged as winners of the IPL Auction, a thrilling competition held during the summit! 🏆🔥

Our journey at the National Entrepreneurship Challenge 2025 at IIT Bombay was nothing short of incredible! Out of 1500+ E-Cells across India, we proudly secured the 38th position and made it to the Finals of this prestigious competition. A contingent of 12 passionate entrepreneurs from our E-Cell represented us at E-Summit 2025, experiencing an inspiring weekend filled with learning, networking, and innovation.

The Blueprint 2025 Business Plan Competition, organized by eDC IIT Delhi, brought together some of the brightest entrepreneurial minds across the country. Held as part of BECon’25, the competition featured intense regional rounds, culminating in the grand finals on February 2, 2025, at IIT Delhi.

Our E-Cell teams had an incredible experience at the Startup Mela hosted by St. Joseph’s University! Starting bright and early, the event was filled with opportunities for pitching, networking, and receiving insightful feedback.

Bikesh Kumar qualified the IIT BHU Zonal Startup Junction! On 20th December 2024, one of our own, Bikesh Kumar and his teammate Rajeev Tiwari, took a massive leap in their entrepreneurial journey as their startup ShareWallet qualified for the prestigious IIT BHU Zonal Startup Junction! 🎉
